Debjyoti Bhattacharjee is a Principal Member of Technical Staff in the Compute System Architecture (CSA) unit at imec, Leuven. He is also affiliated to KU Leuven as a part-time ZAP Professor. His current research spans CMOS2.0-driven architecture design, system architecture and performance modelling, hardware-software co-design, and mapping algorithms for machine learning workloads and accelerators.

He received the BTech degree in computer science and engineering from the West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT), Kolkata, West Bengal, India, in 2013, the MTech degree in computer science from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India, in 2015, and the PhD degree in computer science and engineering from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2019. He worked as a research fellow with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore for a year. During his doctoral studies, he worked on design of architectures using emerging technologies for in-memory computing. He developed novel technology mapping algorithms, technology-aware synthesis techniques, and proposed novel methods for multi-valued logic realization. He has been nominated as a IEEE Senior member in 2023.
